Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so I'm sitting here awake at almost 2 o'clock in the morning not being able to sleep. (Not that blogging is going to help me to sleep, but hey it's Christmas)

I guess the main reason for me not being able to sleep is because I'm too excited for Christmas in the morning to sleep, yes, I'm 18 and I still get excited for Christmas. DON'T JUDGE ME!!!!!!

So since I can't sleep I guess I will tell you all what I got for Christmas Eve today, err yesterday.
I got a hello kitty gift card (don't worry it's to Hot Topic) a nice black hoodie from aeropostale, an amazing hat that is indescribably awesome and must be seen in person that it may be known how awesome it is. A scarf. A gift card to Gamestop. A laptop cooling desk. ummmmm............
Im really tired so its kind of taking me a while to remember everything i got, like i said don't judge me. ooh yeah, boots for walking through the cold snow at U.T. ummm....... I think that might be it.

You know, I've noticed that as you get older your Christmases start to get more and more boring. I didn't want it to happen, but look at me, Im excited for a thing for my laptop. I DON'T WANNA GROW UP!!!!!!!!!!

Anywho, Merry Christmas to all of you and to all a good night, oh and a happy new year.

Scary Story for the contest thingy.

My story takes place at the Riverview Inn. Here is a short summary of what is said about this haunted place. http://www.forgottenoh.com/Counties/Lucas/riverview.html

This ghost has no name so in my story we shall call her Emily.

(The following story, aside from the place, are completely fictitious)

Our story starts with a young man named David, he is a young man, about the age of 21, and he is about to spend a night at the Riverview Inn. David had heard all the ghost stories, but he never believed them. That, however, was about to change. All of the workers at the Riverview Inn believed the stories, because not only had they seen the ghost of Emily, they had felt her cold ghostly hand cross them.

David was in desparate need of a room, but they had no vacancies, except for the attic. He agreed to take that room, but his acceptance of this room only led to shocked looks from the employees at the Inn. The attic is where Emily decided to take her own life, and no one had stayed there since the incident happened out of fear.

He laughed at their shocked expressions, and replied that he didn't believe in ghosts. By the end of this night his mind would be changed forever. So he went up to the attic and began to unpack his bags, when suddenly he heard a knock at the door. He went to the door, opened it up, but no one was there. He laughed to himself as he yelled down the hall, "Very funny guys, but I'm not going to fall for it!" As soon as he shut the door behind him another knock came at the door. He quickly opened it again, only this time a brush of cold air chilled his entire body. With a shiver in his voice he said, "Who-whoever i-i-it is n-n-needs to stop! N-N-NOW!" With that he slammed the door and walked over to the bed rubbing his arms, trying to warm himself up.

He suddenly realized that the room had gotten colder, so cold that he could see his own breath. Across the room he noticed a fire place with some logs next to it, he threw the logs in and started a fire. As he sat by the fire and warmed himself up he started to get tired, so he decided to go to bed.

He woke up a while later to what sounded like crying. He could see the fire was only a few burning embers now, but on the other side of the room was an eerie glow. He stood up and walked over to it to see what it was. It was a beautiful girl, but she was crying, David knelt down in front of her, and asked her why she was crying. She didn't respond, she only buried her face deeper in her hands. He reached out to touch her shoulder and comfort her, but as soon as he did this, the sadness and pain in her crying changed into a sickly maniacal laughter.

David fell back as she flew up to the ceiling, suddenly she flew right at him. He tried to get out of her way, but he wasn't able to move fast enough. She went right into his chest, and immediately David's entire body was filled with a perpetual coldness. His blue eyes turned from their normal color to a deep, blood red. Then suddenly the cold was gone, but it was replaced with an intense pain, the pain that Emily had felt that had driven her to take her own life, all of her memories. The emotional pain of the mental scars left by her abusive father, the physical pain of her own self-destruction. David looked at his wrists, the view was hazy through his eyes, but he could see that they were cut up, almost completely destroyed. He then began to have horrible flashbacks, but they weren't of his memories, they were of Emily's past. Cowering in a corner while her father came ever closer with his hands closed into tightly balled fists. Sitting in the bathroom with her father pounding on the door while she stared at her scarred arms.

All of these memories were forced into David's head. He began to lose consciousness as Emily's spirit began to take over his body, he then fought back and was able to muster up enough strength to scream, "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!" He screamed this over and over again, as he repeatedly bashed his head onto the hard wooden floor of the attic, with each strike he began to regain control, but then he gave up, almost passing out from the pain. Even though David gave up Emily didn't she began taking over David's body, began controlling him. She brought David to his feet and walked over to the door. Suddenly David regained some control, he tried to fight from the inside, he gained enough power to reach for a revolver on the nightstand. He then lifted it up and put it to his own head, he knew that the only release from this nightmare would be death. He pulled the trigger, click, nothing happened, he pulled it again, click, still nothing, he pulled it again and again until he realized that every chamber was empty. After that Emily regained control she threw the revolver to the ground, and slowly walked over to the door. David was able to regain control for a few more seconds, this gave him just enough time to throw himself out of the window.

He flew from the third story window and started to laugh as he fell, then he hit the ground with a sickening thud. David was free, or at least he thought so. He looked down from the spot where he was floating and saw himself, actually the mangled remains of his body. Then to his disbelief his body started to stand up. It was Emily who started to control his body. She stood up and walked back into the Inn, it was late enough that everybody had gone to bed so no one saw her walk in. She walked up to the attic and took everthing that was David's and then left.

As for David he was cursed to be trapped in the attic of the inn for the rest of eternity. That is of course unless he can find another host body. And it just so happens that a few nights later another person takes the room, and so the story begins again.

THE END!!!!

Another story

Hey i've been thinking about another story recently, but couldn't really find the best music that went along with what I was thinking so I just decided to write the story.

A young child kneels in front of a gravestone, it belongs to his father. A shadow blocks the light from his tear-filled eyes, he looks up to see his older brother silhouetted against the sky. Through his tears he looks like an angel. He tells his younger brother, "Remember the good times instead of living in the sadness."

The younger one with tears in his eyes says, "I'm not used to him not being here this feels like one of those times when I would call my dad and say, 'What should I do?' but now that he's gone I don't know where to turn."

The older brother looks him in the eyes and tells him, "Think about when you and dad would play catch in the backyard, or try to remember way back, when he would read us bedtime stories before putting us to bed." He chuckles and tears come to his eyes, "Truth is, I miss him too, but I always remember that deep down inside me he's there. He always has been and always will be. Don't you ever forget that."

"I won't, I promise," he said with a smile on his face.

"Dad loved us and he would have wanted us to be happy whether he was here or not. I don't know about you, but I'm happy for him, he's in a better place now, probably watching us right now." as the older brother looked up a tear rolled down his cheek.

Suddenly the younger brother called out and said, "Hey, what's that over there?" As they both run over to it they see that it's a feather slowly falling to the ground.

The older brother picks it up, and says, "Hey, do you think this could be from an angel's wing?"

The younger brother turns towards him, looks him in the eyes, and asks, "Do you think its from dad? Maybe he dropped it to tell us that he heard us!"

The older brother looks up, and says, "Dad! If it really is you show us another sign!"

Just then, almost as if from nowhere, another feather falls.

Both of the brother's look up and see their dad's smiling face in the clouds. They both start to cry, not out of sadness, but out of love and happiness that their father will always be there with them.

Beauty and the Beast Corps stories

Okay, these are some stories that are in the game Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
They are the stories of each member of the beauty and the beast corps, they are a little bit gruesome, but very powerful stories nevertheless.

Laughing Octopus
She's from a village in Scandinavia- a little seaside hamlet known to all the local's as Devil's Village. Place wasn't known for devil's though, it was know for octopus. See, this is one of the few places in Europe where they ate octopus customarily. Anyway, there's this cult of crazies who for some reason hate the village, with a passion. Then, when she was just a teenager, things get bad. These nutcases get their hands on some weapons and attack the village. Overnight, her sleepy little fishing town becomes a war zone. They round up all the villagers and execute them one by one. Except, for that girl. They had something else planned for her, something a whole lot worse than dying. Calling her the Devil's Child, they forced her to do the kind of thing you'd expect from one of Lucifer's own. After they made her torture her family and friends, they made her kill'em. The whole time they were forcing her to laugh, howl like some sort of demon. Like she was enjoying it. What was she gonna do, say no? They'd kill her too. So she let fear take control, and did exactly as they told her. She butchered the bodies of the ones she loved, and laughed while she did it. And as she bathed in their blood, it gradually changed from deep red to jet black. To her, it looked like the ink of an octopus. The experience scarred her deep, ever since then she hasn't stopped laughing. Only, that ain't really laughter.

Raging Raven
How old was she?
I'd say about 20. But she has years of soldier's rage hidden away in that youthful body of hers.
Soldiers?
Yeah, the soldiers of Aceh, a place that hasn't seen peace in a long, long time. She was captured by one side or another, and kept caged up like an animal along with God knows how many other kids.
Anonymous violence.
Exactly. It's unknown whether her captors were with the government or the rebels. In any case, they got their kicks by abusing these helpless little kids day after day after day. That constant barrage, that battlefield rage, slowly built up inside their bodies... Their minds. The kids tried to keep each others spirits up, always clinging to the hope that someone would come to their rescue, barely surviving off scraps of food. But those soldiers didn't stop. They called the kids parasites, and sh*t-eating ravens. Beat'em even harder. Then one morning, the soldiers just up and left, leaving the surviving kids to be eaten alive by the birds. Almost like one of those sky burials. One by one their bodies were picked apart by ravens' beaks, until finally the flock came for her. But by some miracle, their beaks cut her bonds instead. And like that, she was liberated. In that instant, she was filled with an uncontrollable rage, and it smothered her soul. She ripped the ravens pecking at her to pieces and then went after the soldiers. And when she finally caught up with them, she waited until nightfall, like a hunter awaiting it's prey. They say that when a raven cries, a man dies. And that's exactly what happened that night. Screeching and cawing, she killed every last living being in the camp, both the soldiers and the civilians they'd enslaved. In her eyes, there was no longer a difference. The cruelty her friends had suffered, the pain and humiliation she'd endured. Hers was the distillation of the rage that decades of war had imparted on those soldiers.
It was her strength-and her greatest weakness.

Crying Wolf
You don't need me to tell you that there are whole nations in Africa tearing themselves apart in the name of ethnic cleansing. Well, she was born into that environment. When she was a little girl, her village was attacked by rival armed factions. Her parents and siblings were slaughtered, and she was left a refugee. She took her last surviving relative, her baby brother, and ran as far as she could away from the war zone. One day, they came across an enemy unit, so she took her brother and hid in an abandoned shack. And then her brother started to cry. She knew that if the soldiers heard the noise, they would find them and kill them both. So she wrapped her hand as tight as she could around his mouth. As the footsteps gradually went away, she came back to her senses. Her brother wasn't crying anymore. Horrified, she pulled her hand away, covered in sweat and spit. He wasn't breathing. They say wolves eat their own pups when they die. She was spotted wandering through the thick of battle carrying her dead brother in her arms. She had visions, too-a wolf walking alongside her. Every night, the wolf would howl and cry, just like her brother did that day. Eventually, she made it to a government-run refugee camp. But by then, her brother's body had rotted away. The camp was crowded with refugess like herself, and little children like her brother. Day and night she was tormented by the cries of babies. The wolf that followed her heard her sorrowful screams and answered. He made his way around the camp. And one by one. He silenced the children. She tried to stop it, but she was powerless to stop the wolf. A few days passed, and on the eve of the enemy's raid, there wasn't a child left. The adults who survived were torn up pretty bad. Of course, there was never any wolf in that camp. She was the one who killed those babies. But she couldn't bring herself to admit it. She couldn't bear the thought of herself going from one baby to the next, howling like a wolf, snuffing out their little lives. And she never did, even as Crying Wolf, a lonely beast forever stalking the battlefield.

Screaming Mantis
Mantis came from South America. She was born and raised in a country wracked by never-ending civil wars. Her village was attacked by enemy forces and burned to the ground. This was when she was still a little girl. Hunted by enemy death squads, she was separated from her family. She barely managed to escape with her life... Ended up in the basement of this one building. It was full of corpses that had been dumped there. Almost all of them had been tortured to death. She was petrified with fear. And then she heard the sound of heavy boots on the floor above her followed by shrieking screams, the kind that would make every hair on your body stand straight up. She had stumbled across a makeshift torture chamber. Somebody had locked the door, and she was trapped. It was dark, it was dank, and it was full of a wretched stench. She couldn't sleep with screams of torture victims all around her. All she could do was sit curled up in one corner of the room, trembling. A week passed, then ten days. She managed to keep hydrated by drinking the filthy water pooled up on the floor, but there was no food. Being trapped in that kind of place, half-crazy from hunger did a serious number on her mind. Did you know female mantises eat their mates? The screams went on day and night. She covered her ears, but it didn't help. And then, she was saved. By a little black mantis, that taught her how to block out the screams, how to plug up her inner ears.
What the hell are you talking about?
I'm saying, Snake, that when she couldn't stand the hunger any longer, she started feeding on the corpses. But only the male ones. She didn't realize who was doing it. In her mind, it was a female mantis, devouring her mates. It was like one big, twisted waking dream. There was no mantis of course. It was all a hallucination. Nothing more than some story spun by another person she'd created inside. Her unstable mind was what made her so vulnerable. Anyway, she survived several weeks down in that hellhole and finally got back to the surface. But the screams in her head didn't subside. They would always be with her, only this time, they weren't real. The inner earplugs didn't work anymore. The black mantis had disappeared. There was no place left to escape. Which is why she was always screaming-to drown out the ones in her own head.

Okay, there you go, sorry if any of these haunt your dreams, don't know if these are based on true stories or not, but these are very very moving and haunting stories.

I have nothing to blog about

Which is why i haven't blogged in a while. Sorry.

College

So now that ive gone through at least the first day of all of my classes this summer I figured I would take a break and blog about all of my classes.
I'll list all of my classes and something about what they are.

Africana studies
I am learning about the history of African american people, and what kind of changes they have made in America. It sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun, a lot of presentations and the professor said that we may do old african plays and things like that.

Latin American Civilization
In this class I am going to learn about, what else, The history of Latin America, Which includes mexico, and the rest of south america, The carribean islands, and other surrounding areas, and how people in those areas differ from the people in certain other areas of Latin America.

Philosophy
Basically I'm going to learn about how I don't exist. Also my Professor, she likes to use the f-word. Quite a bit. So yeah HUGE change from A.C.A.

Anthropology
Pretty much political, liberal, democratic bullcrap trying to be forced into my head. Very boring class to sit through for an hour and fifteen minutes.

Mathematics
This class is really really easy. Today I learned about the number sets!!! rational irrational real whole integers all that jazz so yeah. Easy A.

Introduction to college
This is pretty much a guaranteed A. Its just giving you tips to survive in college. Pretty boring, but at least I have a computer in front of me in that class. WOO!!! solitaire ftw!!!!

blogging from my phone

So i just found out that i can access blogger from my phone! so i may just post more often. i dont know. we'll see!

Random poem

This is a poem i was thinking of while walking around on the U.T. campus. Its not really finished yet, but ill add more to it the more i think of it.

He controls me like a marionette

Bringing out my deepest regrets

He holds me back not letting me go

I fear that I lack the power to grow

I can do nothing but follow his will

Powerless against him, like a lion's kill

He tells me to join in the sin of this nation

Unable to resist I give in to temptation

I give in to sin again and again

I fear my controller is about to win

Then I feel something grow deep inside me

The one who controls me knows its alive in me

Hes taken aback but not yet defeated

I stand to my feet though my strength is depleted

The strings start to break as I raise my voice

The name of my Savior I begin to rejoice

My former controller now falls to his knees

Just like he did mine I ignore his pleas

He begs me to stop to let him go free

I simply reply theres no escaping from me

I rejoice louder and lift my voice higher

He screams in pain Ill give you more power

I laugh and say there is nothing greater

I have the power of my Lord and Savior

He bursts into dust he lost this war

But deep down inside I know I'll face more

But as long as I have the strength of my Lord

I will not be defeated, of that be assured

So I tell you who read this do not be afraid

For with the power of the Lord you will not be swayed

Okay thats it

I was kinda making it up as i went along so it may not flow very well but what do you expect, its me, im not a poet.
